Pdf Icon Changed To Black

So i changed it back and i have the black pdf icons all over my desktop again.

Pdf icon changed to black. App icons change to acrobat reader icon after you install acrobat or reader on windows 7 or vista, icons of all applications and file types change to acrobat/reader icon. Is there not a fix that will address the desktop separate from the picture library? The free images are pixel perfect to fit your design and available in both png and vector.

Since upgrading to windows 10 from 7, my pdf thumbnail icons often change to plain black and i have to right click/refresh or windowskey+f5 to change them back. The allow themes to change desktop icons box is **unchecked**; I know how to easily rectify auto refresh via the registry in window 7 and 8 but cannot find the option in 10

I've messed up my windows 10 file associations regarding pdf file icons, and i can't undo it because i can't find the original icons. Pdf files, rather than the normal adobe pdf icon (like this one), have a white sheet with the red adobe reader square on it (like this one). But then my picture thumbnails showed up as the icon, rather than the picture's thumbnail.

When i first boot the machine, the.pdf files appear okay. This only affects the.pdf files. Looking in the adobe help helpicons folder, the acrobat_10 icon is white.
